On 11-15 of March, 2014, “Uluchay” Social-Economic Innovation Center has organized 4-days training program on stereotypes, cross-border cooperation and tolerance building for Georgian and Azerbaijani participants of “Photographers without Borders” project. The training program was consists of training and practical sessions and was provided to 20 participants from border regions of Azerbaijan and Georgia.
Within these four days, participants received trainings on stereotypes, cross-border cooperation and tolerance building, as well as had practical sessions in border regions of Azerbaijan.
First two days of the training sessions were provided by trainers of Uluchay and covered such topic as tolerance building between Georgians and Azerbaijanis, opportunities for young people for cross-border cooperation and stereotypes between these two neighbor countries. During the training sessions participants were involved to the working group games, presentations and discussions around mentioned topics.
The last two days of the training program participants had a visit to Gakh district of Azerbaijan, where they took pictures on daily life of Azerbaijanis and Georgians living there.
Let us note that this is the second training program organized within the “Photographers without Borders” program. The first training program was organized by partner organization International Association Civitas Georgica in Patardzeuli, Georgia.
The “Photographers without Borders” project is implemented by “Uluchay” Social-Economic Innovation Center and partnership with International Association Civitas Georgica from Georgia and funded by the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation and Robert Bosch Stiftung.
