Sabina, Turana, and Gunel are brave voices among the thousands of women who overcame domestic violence and abuse from their partners and relatives. Throughout March, USAID/Azerbaijan will recognize challenges faced by women, and highlight work by our partners to advance gender equality in communities, families, and the entire country. USAID funds free legal and psychological services by Uluchay Social-Economic Innovation Center as a part of our efforts to combat gender-based violence and support women in need. These courageous women, and others in similar situations, are the very reason USAID continues to fund these critical services.
