“Uluchay” Social-Economic Innovation Center has implemented the “Responsible communities – democratic society” project with the financial support of the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan.

The project’s overall objective was to build civic responsibility and democratic values through organizing Community Responsibility Weeks, training sessions and awareness-raising activities, advocacy campaigns, and using innovative and creative methodologies in 5 villages of Sheki.

Within this project, Uluchay has built the capacity of community leaders and members, organized awareness-raising sessions on civic participation and responsibility, as well as supported small-scale initiatives realized by community members and local municipalities on Civic Responsibility Weeks.
