The project’s primary goal is to establish a core group of young news reporters in Azerbaijan Sheki and Zagatala region who will report independent news from around the region and post news reports on a specially established website.
Specific objectives of the project:

• To build the capacity of young people on online news reporting;
• To build the capacity of partner newspaper media;
• To establish a website for posting news reports, including related photos and short videos;
• To provide young people with the necessary equipment for news reporting; and
• To organize Journalist of Month awards to increase the interest of young people to participate in online news reporting.
