Provision of legal and psychological aid to vulnerable groups in the North-Western Region of Azerbaijan

“Uluchay” Social-Economic Innovation Center implemented the “Provision of legal and psychological aid to vulnerable groups in the North-Western Region of Azerbaijan” project funded by the USAID and the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation.

Uluchay will work on providing legal and psychological aid to a vulnerable group of women in the northwestern region of Azerbaijan. The group includes divorced and widowed women and wives of prisoners living in the Sheki, Zagatala, Gakh, and Balakan districts of Azerbaijan.

Through this initiative, Uluchay provided legal aid and legal representation in courts to more than 400 women in need of legal support, as well as provided psychological aid to women to help them to rehabilitate into society and overcome problems.

The duration of the project was 12 months, starting from 01 May 2021.
