FIT & CONNECT in Caucasus

funded by the International Visegrad Fund

Uluchay has implemented the “FIT & CONNECT in the Caucasus! – Fostering sustainable civil society through cooperation” project in partnership with the Foundation for Development of Democratic Rights, PDCS, Agora, and Fundacja Partners Polska and funded by the International Visegrad Fund.

Within this project, Uluchay has organized CONNECT (Communication, Networking, and Cooperation) training sessions for ten selected regional and national non-governmental organizations. Four-day training sessions were provided by the experts of PDCS (Slovakia), Agora (Czech Republic), and Fundacja Partners Polska (Poland). Within the second half of the project, Uluchay organized a call for proposals based on cross-sectoral partnerships for participants of the training program. Four winners of the call and representatives of Uluchay have participated in the one-week FIT (Fundraising, Impact, and Transparency) Summer School organized by DemNet in Hungary.

After the summer school, winners started to implement their projects related to the cooperation of CSOs with the private sector and governmental representatives, as well as with the involvement of different vulnerable groups, such as refugees and IDPs.
