Regional CSO coalitions researching women’s and children’s rights

As a result of the internal call for proposals among participants of capacity-building sessions for regional civil society organizations, Uluchay’s Evaluation Committee selected three CSO coalitions to research women’s and children’s rights in different regions of Azerbaijan. This activity was done within the  “Monitoring and advocating for the human rights of children and vulnerable women in Azerbaijan” project implementing by “Uluchay” Social-Economic Innovation Center.

The following research activities received funding from the project:

  1. Rights of children for education in the Ganja-Gazakh region implementing by three organizations;
  2. Rights of women after the divorce research in Sheki implementing by four organizations;
  3. Violence against children research in Balakan district implementing by two organizations.

Let us note that Uluchay’s project experts will use findings and data collected from these projects within the final research paper and provide them to relevant key stakeholders and decision-makers. The project is funded within the “Protecting human rights of vulnerable groups in Azerbaijan” project funded by the European Union and implemented by the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR).
