Training on monitoring and research for regional CSOs
On 17-21 October 2022 in Sheki city, “Uluchay” Social-Economic Innovation Center organized a 5-day training program on monitoring, research, and advocacy for 20 civil society organizations from different regions of Azerbaijan.
Trainers Elchin Rashid and Vali Alibeyov provided a lecture and practical workshops for CSOs. They covered preparing logical framework, monitoring tools and mechanisms, advocacy, and conducting socio and policy research topics.
As a result of the training program, representatives of CSOs will be able to use these tools and skills within their daily work and consider using the logical framework and monitoring plans, as well as conduct research and monitoring. Specifically, we would like to note that CSOs participated in the training program will be able to propose their monitoring activities on women’s and children’s rights and receive support from the project.
The training program was organized by “Uluchay” Social-Economic Innovation Center in cooperation with Transparency International Azerbaijan within the “Monitoring and advocating for the human rights of children and vulnerable women in Azerbaijan” project.
The project is funded within the European Union-funded “Protecting human rights of vulnerable groups in Azerbaijan” project and implemented by the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR).
